Wintermagie 2023
Inleiding
As Winter's icy grip tightens, a group of wanderers stumble upon a secret deep within the snowy forest. They discover a special flower bud that gives off warmth in the cold. Word spreads, drawing more people to the flower, all unaware of the potential trouble it could bring. As the wanderers break the ice around the flower, the once-pristine snow begins to melt, turning the place into a swamp and causing panic!
Winter Shamans hear about the incident and hurry to the site to try and control the unruly flower. Can the Winter Shamans master the wild flower, or will it melt everything in its path leaving behind an inhospitable land?
Inuma is the postal officer. She is a Halfling in charge of sorting and delivering the mail to all citizens of the City. She always puts people’s needs above her own and is a great Owl trainer. She and her delivery owl Olla deliver the mail across the city.
Opdrachten en opdrachtmijlpalen
De opdrachtenlijn bestaat uit een verhalend gedeelte en aanvullende episodische opdrachten, die starten zodra het verhaal is voltooid. Dit betekent dat je de eerste serie opdrachten direct kunt voltooien, terwijl voor latere opdrachten elke dag een nieuwe aanvulling wordt vrijgegeven, zodat je gedurende elke dag van het evenement een aanvullende opdracht kunt uitvoeren.
Het uitvoeren van evenementopdrachten brengt extra voordelen met zich mee, omdat elke voltooide opdracht je dichter bij één van de mijlpalen brengt, waar je extra beloningen krijgt, gewoon omdat je ze bereikt.
Voor elke voltooide opdracht krijg je postsleutels 
als beloning. Deze worden automatisch aan het evenementmenu toegevoegd. Met deze postsleutels kun je postbussen openen, om waardevolle en unieke evenementgebouwen en andere beloningen te krijgen. Door het openen van de postbussen krijg je ook wintercadeaus 
, die je verzamelt om de hoofdprijzen te ontgrendelen. Maar dat is nog niet alles in het Wintermagie-evenement van dit jaar! Als je een postbus opent, wordt een postster aan een speciale krachtenteller toegevoegd. Zodra je het benodigde aantal hebt verzameld, kun je deze gebruiken om speciale krachten te activeren en het geluk nog meer aan jouw kant te krijgen!
Klik op het pictogram van het evenementmenu om het evenementvenster te openen. Hier vind je volop informatie en kun je je verzamelde postsleutels gebruiken:
- De resterende looptijd van het evenement.
- De hoofdprijs waarvoor je momenteel speelt en de volgende hoofdprijs. (Click on the "Claim" button to collect the Grand Prize).
- Displays how many Winter Gifts
have been delivered and shows current progress towards unlocking the Grand Prizes. - As you see that you have reached 5/5 Reroll charges, and you want to change your Daily Prize, just press the Reroll button, confirm your choice, and you will see your Daily Prize change for the day!
- Your Daily Exclusive Prize. Hover over the building for its description.
- The amount of Postal Keys
you have collected and not yet spent. - Leagues: allows you to see your progress through the Leagues (please check the bottom of the page for more information)
- Allows you to buy Postal Keys with Premium currency.
- Uli, the new delivery trainee owl: As you hand Winter Gifts from Postal Boxes to Uli. Uli will follow the path to the current Grand Prize.
- Postal Boxes which you can open with Postal Keys to win a reward and obtain Winter Gifts and Postal Stars.
- Special Powers: "Reveal Two" and "Double Reward" - When the required number of Postal Boxes have been opened, you can use these to reveal two random rewards or double the reward in the next Postal Box opened. "Shuffle" can be activated using Postal Keys whenever you want to get a new set of Postal Boxes.

Postsleutels
You start the Winter Magic event with 50 Postal Keys and each Event Quest will give you more as a reward for completing the given tasks. Every day you play during the Event, you will receive a Daily Winter Magic login reward of 35 Postal Keys .
Also, from time to time, you will find more Postal Keys around your city outskirts for you to collect.
You can then use the Postal Keys to open Postal Boxes. Additional Postal Keys are unlocked upon reaching the second and fourth Quest Milestone.
Remember that the Winter Magic event only lasts for a few weeks, and after that you will no longer be able to use your Postal Keys to open Postal Boxes and earn awesome rewards, so don't waste time!
Postbussen
Each day the Winter Magic Event starts with a total of 16 locked Postal Boxes that are just waiting for you to open them using Postal Keys. At the start of each day, you will be presented with a new selection of rewards hidden within the Postal Boxes. To give you an idea of what you can win, the rewards are visible at first but you must "Shuffle" them before you open the doors to claim them.
You can activate a manual "Shuffle" at any point in time, given you have the required 45 Postal Keys.
Use your Postal Keys to open a Postal Boxes. Each one will give you a Winter Gift plus one of many different rewards like the changing Daily Exclusives, Instants, Knowledge Points, Rune Shards, special Buildings or more Postal Keys.

Wintercadeaus
Each time you open a Postal Box, you will be rewarded with a Winter Gift. If you have used the "2x" Special Power previously, you will even receive two Winter Gifts.
Every Postal Box you open also contains a Winter Gift that Uli, the delivery owl, will deliver to your citizens. Once Uli delivered a total of 20 Winter Gifts, the next Grand Prize is unlocked for you.
Beloningen
Evoluerend gebouw
A new Evolving Building is available in the Winter Magic Event: the Hearthbloom! Your Evolving building can be evolved through 10 stages to increase its power.

The Hearthbloom Evolving Building provides Culture, Population and produces Basic Sentient Goods +1 as standard production. From stage 4 upwards your Evolving Building will produce Basic Ascended Goods +2 (depending on the Chapter you are currently in) and on higher stages, Knowledge Points and a Ensorcelled Endowment Enchantment will be added to the production. As it evolves, you will receive higher amounts of these resources!

Koninklijke prijspas
The Royal Prize Pass is an additional feature, which can accompany any regular Event in Elvenar.
For every event step completed, you will make a step towards the next Grand Prize, and an additional Prize within the Royal Prize Pass!
In the Grand Prizes window, available from the Event screen if the Event is using the mechanic, you can see the upcoming event prizes that are waiting for you to be unlocked. Here, for every step earned from collecting Event Currency, you can unlock one of the event Grand Prizes, among which you can find various high-rarity instants, Artifacts, and so on.
The Royal Prize Pass adds Royal Grand Prizes, which can be collected with the regular Grand Prizes. The Royal Prize lane becomes available with purchasing the Royal Prize Pass and you can do so at any time in the event! For this event, the exclusive building that will be granted with the purchase of the Royal Prize pass is the Winter Logs!
This time the Royal Pass Prize Line also brings you a new and exclusive portrait that will not be available anywhere else in the game.

Hoofdprijzen
The Grand Prizes Line is always the most appealing one, as this is where you can win and gather the necessary Artifacts to evolve your Evolving Building to the next stage!
Grand Prizes include the Hearthbloom Artifact, which allows you to evolve your Hearthbloom to the next stage. See Evolving Buildings for more information on the evolution process.
For every 20 Winter Gifts delivered you can collect the next available Grand Prize, which can be a Hearthbloom Artifact or a unique and exclusive item such as an exclusive Portrait that is not available anywhere else in the game!

This year, the Winter event releases 3 new Expiring Buildings! These can be found in the Postal Boxes as a reward, so keep opening them if you don't want to miss any of these wonderful new Expiring Buildings.

As usual in the Winter Magic event, when you reach the last milestone reward, you will receive an Expiring Building: The Goddess of Wishes grants you a random reward every 12 hours.
Competities
In this event you will have the chance to participate in Leagues and win even more fantastic prizes!
Gathering Winter Gifts will not only allow you to collect Grand Prizes but also to progress up through the Leagues.
There are five different Leagues you can reach by gathering Winter Gifts: Hobby, Iron, Bronze, Silver and Gold League. Each League is limited to a number of players with the required amount of points for that League. If a league is already full, you will move to the next League down but remember, the positions on the Leagues are recalculated every hour so do not give up hope and keep opening Postal Boxes to be able to progress in the Leagues!

- Iron - Top 50%
- Bronze - Top 20%
- Silver - Top 5%
- Gold - Top 1%
For the Hobby League you only need to start playing the event, as for the rest of the Leagues you need to open Postal Boxes and gather those Winter Gifts in order to progress through the Leagues. Each League has a minimum amount of points that needs to be reached. The League requirements are based on the progress of all players playing the event and it is recalculated every hour, so you might notice some changes on the required points to achieve the next League. If you hover your mouse over the Leagues icon in the event window, you will be able to see what is your rank and how much further you have to go until you reach the next League.
Competitieprijzen
In Leagues there are even more fantastic prizes to be won such as Expiring Buildings, Knowledge Points, Royal Restoration, Artifacts and even an exclusive Portrait that is not available anywhere else in the game!
Each league has a set of awesome rewards, the higher the league the better the rewards! In order to receive the rewards of the league you desire, you must be in the top ranking of that League.
At the end of the event you will see a reward window that displays your League position and the prizes you have won.
