Zoals al eerder opgemerkt, kun je altijd bij iedere andere speler op bezoek gaan om inspiratie op te doen voor je eigen stad.

Toch zullen niet alle steden beschikbaar zijn om mee te handelen of om hulp aan te geven.

Met het verkennen van Provincies, zullen buren binnen een bepaalde afstand van je stad, je natuurlijke handelspartners worden. Dit betekent dat je Goederen met hen kunt uitwisselen via hetHandelsgebouw, maar de Handelaar zal een extra 50% toeslag berekenen bovenop de gevraagde goederen van de buren die je nog niet hebt ontdekt. Het gevolg hiervan is dat het handelen met je nog niet ontdekte buren, in het begin aan de dure kant kan zijn.

Zodra je een Provincie hebt verkend die aan de stad van een van je buren grenst, wordt het al interessanter. Je relatie met die buur zal veranderen naar "Ontdekt", wat inhoudt dat je effectiever met die speler kunt handelen. Met andere woorden: De Handelaar zal geen toeslag meer vereisen wanneer je een aanbieding van die speler aanneemt.

Blijf dus verkennen en ontdekken!

Het tweede voordeel van het ontdekken van buren, is de mogelijkheid om ze eens per dag Burenhulp te verlenen. De Burenhulp stelt je in staat om anderen te helpen en daar een beloning voor te ontvangen. Je kunt Munten doneren aan zijn of haar Stadhuis, Culturele Gebouwen opknappen of de Arbeidershut motiveren.

Give Neighborly Help

To give Neighborly Help to a discovered player, visit his city, select the the Neighborly Help icon on his profile and choose the building you want to help, from the ones showing the same icon.

By giving Neighborly Help, you will be rewarded with some Coins for your kindness. The amount of Coins depends on your Main Hall level. You can see the current amount on a Tooltip, over the "Neighborly Help" info, in the Main Hall.

If your neighbor has also helped you within the last 23 hours, you will also be rewarded with Supplies. In fact, if both of you do this regularly, you will both receive additional Supplies all the time.

After helping a player, a 23 hour countdown timer will start and once the time is over, you can help him again. The timer is displayed on the World Map as well as on the Neighborly Help button tooltip of the player.

Hint:You can only help players you have already discovered on the World Map. Keep scouting Provinces in order to be able to help more players.

Receive Neighborly Help

When you receive Neighborly Help in your own city, you will get a notification under your portrait, to inform you which building has been helped and by whom. You will also see an icon above the buildings which received help. The effect of the help depends on the building type and the actual bonus is displayed in its tooltip.
